Langkawi Getaway: Day 2 - Island Hopping!!!

Hello Readers!

As you all know, I, Bee and 3 other of our beloved friends had a trip planned to Langkawi previously on the 7-9th of February 2012.

Read more about our Langkawi Journey here.

Well towards the continuation of our journey, on Day 2, after our awesome lunch at Nasi Kandar Tomato, we headed for our next adventure which would be our Island Hopping adventure!

We manged to get a good contact for the island hopping package which is priced at RM25 per-person!

Yes you heard me right! It is priced at RM25 per-person!

It may differ during the peak season but well, it is worth a try to inquire within and get a good offer for the Island Hopping no?

The contact for the Island Hopping would be as follow:

Mr. Harun - 012-407 8370
Two Sessions: 9am & 2pm

There are many other Island Hopping tour packages which you could opt to get but this was the best which we could find.
*Our friend CH actually told us that he got his Island Hopping Package previously priced at RM80 per-person!*

We waited for the van to bring us to the jetty where they take off for the island Hopping at 2pm.
And after a short wait (they were pretty punctual when they stated the timing), we have been brought to the jetty where our journey awaits!

A snapshot of the Jetty Area!

The boats which were going to bring us Island Hopping!
There were many tourists who signed up with the Island Hopping packages so the jetty was pretty packed at that time. Our Island Hopping package would take us for a dip at Beras Basah Island, Dayang Bunting Island, and Eagle Feeding watching!

The ladies!

Bug and Bee!

The ever classic shooting reflection through the Aviator Glasses!
We started off our from the jetty to our first destination which was the Beras Basah Island!

Over here, we are able to just relax, sun bathe, or perhaps dip into the clean blue sea and just enjoy the atmosphere of the island for an hour.

I was the main photographer for the trip and also the bag keeper so I wasn't quite able to have a good dip into the pool, but well, I enjoyed having a good look of Bee enjoying the dip into the clean blue sea! *Ooops!*

The beautiful ladies enjoying the dip in the blue sea!

Yeah!!!

My lovely Bee! *Told ya I enjoyed taking just taking photos* Ooops!
A photo before we left the Island!

The island was truly beautiful and a must to go if you're a beach lover and a person who just loves to spend some good quality time dipping into the beautiful blue sea!

We moved on to the next part of our Island hopping tour which was the Eagle Feeding watch!

We were brought close-by towards another island and there, we watch the Eagles dive down to grab the meat which was bought and given by the tour leaders.
Some pictures of the Eagle Feeding Watch, Enjoy!

Just enjoy watching how they gracefully dive down to grab the food on the surface of the sea!

Flying back to the nest to give food for the Children!
The Eagle Feeding lasted for about half an hour before we headed on to our next destination, the Island of the Pregnant Maiden, Dayang Bunting Island!
There is an amazing view of the Island where the Tour guide stopped and pointed towards the mountain saying that if you look closely, you could see the Pregnant Maiden lying down within the mountains. It was truly and interesting sight and the pictures below would tell the story! *It is said that there is a lake at the island where some visitors would travel all the way to the island to drink the water from the lake to be able to conceive easier.*

A very interesting picture, if you look closely, you could see The Pregnant Maiden lying down within the mountains. The shape of the Mountain shows the Pregnant Maiden's Head, Stomach and Breasts.

And here we are at Dayang Bunting Island!
As we arrived the Island of the Pregnant Maiden, we were welcomed by some crazy monkeys!

Gosh there were a whole lot of monkeys around the island. Reminds us of the time when we went over to Bali and saw a tourist's spectacles being snatched by the crazy monkeys!

We walked at a faster pace, trying not to attract the attention of the monkeys!

We had to walk up quite a bit to reach a lake where the tourists were able to witness the magnificent view and also dip themselves inside the lake and just enjoy some fun time under the sun!

The scenery around the lake!

Ms. M and Bee!
Ms. M had herself some dip inside the lake and me and Bee just sat down and dip our feet inside the lake!
We didn't do much at the island except for enjoying the view and admiring the scenery all around the beautiful island.
We headed back to the jetty of the island after one hour has elapsed to head on back to where we started off!

The Tour Group which we followed by Mr. Harun called Intan Baru!
As we headed back to the jetty where we started off, we were truly tired out hopping from one island to another but yet we were thrilled as it was almost time for sunset!!!

As we headed back to our hotel, we were thrilled and excited to head on back, drop our bags and headed out to the beach of the hotel to witness one of many nature's beauty, the sunset of yet another day!

Well, I have to keep the anticipation going no? So stay tuned for our next post on our Sunset experience at Pulau Langkawi and also our dinner at Orkid Ria, Pantai Cenang!

Till then!

Cheers!

Bug
