Hey! Recently you all know that we had just came back from our Langkawi trip. It was a 3D2N trip, organized by yours truly. Yay! We had managed to get EXTREMELY cheap tickets. Guess how cheap?

We got our tickets for RM 33 for BOTH ways. Oh yeah! *does the hula dance*
We booked our tickets way back in April 2011, during the 10cents sale by Airasia. So just a tip for y'all, always plan your trips early! Or at least be spontaneous enough to plan really early trips.
So on the 7th of February, we made our way to LCCT, with loads of thanks to Mandy and her family for picking us up to the airport. For internal flights, there is no need for documents verification at the counter. So this means that if you had already web check-in with no baggage drop, you could just head straight through the customs. So we had some Starbucks since we had about 45 minutes more to kill.

Then we made our way to the departure hall. Here is where they will start checking your IC upon boarding your flight. Airasia being Airasia, they delayed our flight for half an hour. Not too bad I guess if you have great company to chit chat and chill around with.

Soon we are on our way to Langkawi! It was an hour flight. We were all separated, so I kept myself entertained by taking some cloud pictures!
Beautiful cloud formation! I saw two rainbows, but by the time I whipped out my camera, the clouds had covered it. *Sad*
Btw, I heard Bug snoring in his seat! Shhhh, Don't tell anybody!
We had the privilege of sitting in Airasia's 100th plane! It was the one which was painted with the dragon on it! Here is a picture of the plane:

So here we are in the island of cheap booze, beaches and sun! So yes,
BUG AND BEE HAD LANDED IN LANGKAWI!

So obviously, we made our way to the car rental place. We had rented a Gen2 from Langkawi Discovery Tour Sdn Bhd. Our total damage: RM140 for 3 days. Pretty good huh? More about the car in the last day post.
We made our way to the hotel. We are staying in the Sunset Beach Resort, along Tengah beach. After considering the reviews from Tripadvisor, we hoped that it was as good as what the reviews had commented. Our verdict??
The resort is simply wonderful! I definitely could not stress how much we fell in love with the place. It was shrouded with greenery, and infused with Balinese style. There were around three house cats, and CH (another travel companion) fell in love with Lucy immediately.

Did I mentioned that our room is a minutes walk from the beach? Oh yeah!
