My Valentines with Bug

*Updated 28.2.12 - Friday Package all the way at the bottom!*



This year, I had a memorable Valentines. As you all know, Bug and I did not celebrate Valentines last week because:

1. Everything is simply overpriced, from the flowers to the dinner
2. It is my dad's birthday

So that is that. Being punctual ol me, I gave Bug his Valentines gift last week on Valentines day (Read all about it here!). Bug being not so punctual delayed his Valentines gift till a week later. Everybody say BOOOO!

Nevertheless, he made up to me by compiling the most amazing gifts for the past week. Each day from Monday till Friday, he had been giving a different 'package', leading up to the our long overdued dinner date on Friday night. His strategy: To give me the Valentines that I would never forget.

Monday: Pampering Package
On Monday, he came in with a paper bag. I was so eager to open up the present! Pampering package means scrubs, body butter, nice scented soaps, etc etc. I was not disappointed. Inside the package, there is not one, not two, but three body scrubs! Yay! I was happy! I was also really touched at the thoughtfulness in the wrapping of the gifts. I thought it is really sweet!

Oh, he also gave me a pom pom ball, the kind which you would use for scrubbing yourself? Cute!

Tuesday: Romance Package
What comes into your mind when you think of romance? Candlelight dinner, chocolates, roses, so many things! It is such an arbituary section, I could not even guess what is it. So eagerly, I waited for Tuesday. When he came into the room, he passed me a nicely wrapped gift with bees!

When I opened the wrapper, I found another wrapper, and another wrapper, and another wrapper!

BAH!!!!

Could I strangle him please?

*Knocks head on the wall!*

When I opened the last wrapper, I was happy with my gift! It is two sets of books from popular (Not pictured). Yay! Now I have some bed time stories to read at night! Thanks Bug!

Wednesday: Beauty Package
I was more intrigued with this. Beauty?

Does that mean he is going to buy me makeup?

I have no idea! It is so wide and random there. On Wednesday, he came in a La Senza bag. Hmmm..

Looks can be deceiving

ok, it is not what you all think, if that is what you are thinking there. It is just and basically a carrier bag for the gift. Ok, it is not as nicely wrapped as the first one, but I'm happier with this one! At least I don't mind tearing the wrapping away now!

OHHH! That is what it is!

Yes, looks can be deceiving alright! From a La senza bag, I got a Body shop body butter It smells simply divine! I was using it that night already!

Mmmm, smells like lux with a hint of floral.

Bug also got me something else on Wednesday, but I would reveal to you only next week when I get my new desk. Its my favourite one so far! Hint: Decoration!

Thursday: Sports Package
Sports package. Bet he is gonna buy me a badminton racket or something. Boy, I was right. AND wrong. To get my gift, I was sent on a TREASURE HUNT!!!!

He planted some clues in my purse the day before, and dumb dumb me did not realise it at all!!

First gift: It is in my car boot

When I opened my car boot, I saw a tag sticking out from my umbrellas. Guess what it is?

A racket! Gosh! Now I have no excuse to not exercise anymore!

And another note! Interesting!

It says to go and check me phone. And guess what I found in my notes?

hmmm, I was cracking my head to figure out what that means. Then it striked me when I was walking towards my workplace. It is already on me. That means It was inside my handphone cover!

And I was right!

Next clue is to check and article online. This was easy. (Inside joke)

Aha! A riddle!

The riddle was simple. Guess the answer:

The lab! Come on, you definitely saw it coming didnt you?

However, the clue was hard to find! I thought it was at the lockers, but apparently it was stuck at the door of the lab. How am I supposed to find that??

So I cheated and called him. LOL!

The clue on the door then leads me to..

Nope, MaybanK cash deposit machine!

Gosh, this was a toughie! He stuck it behind the machine, how was I supposed to know that?? The security camera must think that I'm a robber or something, I kept pacing around the machine.

So on towards the next clue!

The Sun bring light when the night ended. Oh, the SUN! (The Sun is a newspaper in Malaysia). What a coincidence that he kept a copy in my car. haha!

So I immediately went to my Facebook account and realised that it had been sabotaged.

It is called Treasure hunt photo! Can't believe that I'd missed this! It was in my photos!

After solving the maths equation (Kindergarden maths), It spells out: 5-4-25.

Wait a minute, that is my room! My workspace!

After a few hints from Bug, I finally noticed something wrong with my computer.

I don't think a sanitary pad belongs there!

There is a message on the pad O.o

Hmmm, I made four stars in my room the other day. Now where did it go?

Aha! A phone number! Now lets see what the person have to say!

It was kinda hilarious as the person I phoned was standing right next to me. I finally got my present after searching high and low for it!

Looks like me present is a little colourful! Not fit to post up here that is for sure! Hehe!

Friday: Everlasting Package
Friday's gift will be the biggest and he assures me that it will end with a bang! I was sitting down doing my work, when he came. He plonked down a large A4 size photo frame from Daiso on my desk. Me, being busy did not bother until I was done with my work. And when I actually saw the gift.. I was shocked!!

So What's the Gift???

BUG GOT ME A PHOTOSHOOT PACKAGE!!!

Say hurrah!!!

Those who knows me knows that I love photoshoots, but it is just so expensive! SO he got me this voucher from Groupon, and best of all, I could participate it with him too! Yay! Thanks Bug for being so thoughtful!

After this gift, we both went out for dinner, check out our dinner review at El Toros, and our sweet endings at Haaegen Dazs here!

Well, so far I had an amazing time anticipating and collecting gifts from Bug. (Damn, I should had thought about it first!) I really love his gifts there! It is so thoughtful, and detailed, down from the wrapping to the treasure hunt. So here is the summarized version:

Wednesday: Beauty package

Friday: Everlasting package
